Grill Fest! The ‘Grill Fest’ is scheduled for Tuesday evening, July 11th at around 5:00PM at the Holiday Inn Express! For Pottery Lovers in town on Tuesday, please feel free to join us for this relaxed get together for some burgers, dogs and potato salad, compliments of Pottery Lovers. This will give you an early start on getting caught up with friends…and if we are really lucky, the Pottery Gods will speak to Mother Nature ahead of time!

Room sales open at 7 PM on Tuesday Evening and will continue each day through to Saturday evening.
Room Sales: Room Sales will be held on all floor levels at the Holiday Inn Express (HIE) and a section of rooms at the Comfort Inn (CI). We expect a full house at the HIE, with additional rooms at the CI for those guests with furry friends. The HIE has a ‘NO PET’ policy, no exceptions, so plan accordingly. Chris Powell is accepting room requests for 2016, so if you are planning to come, be sure to send in the Room Request Form that was included in the previous newsletter, or go to potterylovers.org to print the form. The deadline for room forms is April 1st. If you missed it, please contact Chris directly at email@example.com. Room Sales Form. The hotel staff cannot accept any reservations without Chris’ prior approval.

Pottery Lovers Banquet: The banquet will be held at the Zanesville Museum of Art on Friday evening, July 15th at 6:30PM. A welcoming reception and exhibit begins at 5:00PM at the museum. Our speaker will be announced.
Friday & Saturday, July 14-15, 2017
Pottery Lovers Show & Sale: The Pottery Lovers Show & Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 14-15, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Express, in the banquet room on the 1st floor. Contracts for the show are in the mail for those who participated last year. Jerry Kline is the show manager, so contact Jerry at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in doing the show. If you cannot get a room at the HIE, the show is a perfect alternative to be able to sell your pots!
All Week July 11-15, 2017
Hospitality Desk: The hospitality desk will be managed by Alva and Marlene Richardson as it has been over the past few years. They will begin setting up on Monday, with a full schedule of ‘desk duty’ beginning on Tuesday, through to Saturday evening. If you are interested in volunteering some ‘desk’ time while you are in Zanesville, please email Marlene and let her know what you are available to do, and when. It’s not too early! Her email address is email@example.com. We are all volunteers, so any time that you can give is really appreciated, thank you!
Silent Auction: Last year we introduced a “Silent Auction”. A number of items were donated, including an original limited and numbered print of the ‘Weller Mansion’ by the late Mary Victoria ‘Vici’ Taylor, a Brush frog, a Weller Silvertone basket, and several other items. These auctions were a success, raising funds that will help to support PL reunion activities, like the Grill Fest. We would like to see this grow to a dozen pots for auction! If you would like to donate an item for the ‘Silent Auction’ please bring it to the hospitality desk and we’ll be sure to include it!
